Cluster Tools
Designed for tough jobs, these multi-point Diamond tools are long lasting. They are
preferred where high production rates are required, especially from semi-skilled personnel
on roughing or semi-finishing operations.
These tools will withstand a reasonable amount of abuse and require no resetting during their
entire life. Diamonds are selected for quality and uniform size and are evenly spaced. Several
points share the cutting load insuring fine dressing and a smooth finish, especially on larger wheels.
General Industrial Diamond manufactures cluster diamond tools with various numbers of diamonds
in a variety of configurations. Common tools are 7, 5, or 3 stone clusters. These tools may also
contain multiple layers of diamonds. Unless otherwise specified, total diamond weight is 1 carat per tool.
